Rose Cottage is located in the centre of Tirril, two doors away from the excellent village pub The Queens Head Inn.
Tirril is just 2 miles from the M6 (though you can’t hear any trace of it) and 2 miles from Pooley Bridge, which itself is a gem of local cuisine on the Northern shore of Ullswater.
The ease of access from the motorway and the West Coast Mainline rail system (Penrith station is 3 miles away) and the proximity to a haven of rural adventures is key to why we love Rose Cottage.
